- The 1880 US Federal census holds information for about 50 million individuals. Thirty-eight states (including the recently admitted Colorado) were enumerated in the 1880 census, along with eight territories: Arizona, Dakota, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. Non-organized Alaska was also enumerate.
Due to the destruction of the 1890 census in a fire the the Commerce department in 1921, the 1880 census is the last fully us census of the 19th century.... |
